Peace Love And Don't Trust MTV

For Immediate Release

Peace Love And Don't Trust MTV

Fullerton, CA 09/29/06 Remember when MTV was actually a music network?
Indie recording artist TJR does. He's recorded and released a song for all
those who feel the same way.....and he's giving it away for free.

The Song is called "Peace, Love, And Don't Trust MTV" and it's the advance
single for the Alt Rocker's upcoming (as yet untitled) third CD. The song
can be downloaded free at TJR's official web site (www.tjrmusic.com).

The songs lyrics pokes fun of the fact that MTV calls themselves a music
network but plays almost no music.

Peace, Love, and Don't Trust MTV
You ain't no music network baby as far as I can see

Peace, Love, and Don't Trust MTV.
Used to be about the Music, now it's all just mockery

The songs title is a humorous play on old 60's expressions like "Peace
love and don't trust anyone over 35". Anyone over 35 years of age was
considered, "Part of the Establishment" or "The Man".

"That's what I feel MTV has become" Says the Southern CA
Rocker ". It used to be the coolest thing. Now it's just a bunch of
reality shows with the same 10 videos over, and over again".

Or as TJR exclaims in his song "What Does the M Stand for"?

While the song will also be available at the artist's official web site it
is also available at sites like My space, and Download.com.

TJR received the nomination for best Roots artist in the 2005 OC Music
Awards. He has received an ASCAP Plus award three years in row in
recognition for his efforts as a song writer. His first two CDs "Rip
Roarin Rock'n'Roll" and "Mixed Emotions" are both available on iTunes and
CD Baby.com and have received national and international airplay. He has
also recorded with artists and most recently sang with the 100 voice choir
on Neil Young's recent "Living with War" album.

Radio stations, press, and interested parties can request a CD by
